The cities of Vancouver and Whistler have partnered with four First Nations (Líl̓wat, Musqueam, Squamish, Tsleil-Waututh) to put in a bid to host the 2030 winter Olympics. Meet Kaj, the spirit of deciduous leaves which fall off of their trees in the fall in order to pursue their passion for flipping and tumbling through the winter snow. Their body and face mimic the shape of lobed oak and maple leaves, while their name comes from the Haida word for leaf.
